For years, Career Education in Palm Beach County has been proud of the strong relationships developed with business and industry partners through its Career Education Business Leadership Committee, also known as CEBLC. Administrators, teachers, business partners, and board members from Florida, West Virginia, Tennessee, Wyoming, and Canada traveled to Palm Beach County to participate in the 2010 Career Academy Showcase on April 2021. This event showcased the Career Academies of ten Palm Beach County schools that were reviewed by the National Career Academy Coalition (NCAC) and Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE). The great state of Wyoming adopted its name from the Delaware Indian word meaning "mountains and valleys alternating." There is also a claim that the name comes from the Dakota Indian word "mscheweamiing," meaning "at the big flats" or "large plains." (Read more)
Embedded among the more than 300 students who received degrees, diplomas and certificates at Brunswick Community College Wednesday were nine students from the Brunswick County Early College High School, the first graduates of the program that debuted four years ago.
